October's Stamp Collecting Month event is now being planned. This will be our eighth such event, the first being at The Mall at Greece Ridge Center
in 1995, followed by two visits to EastView Mall, 1998's visit to Marketplace Mall, 1999 at Irondequoit Mall, and 2000 at EastView. This
year's event is being planned now for sometime in October.
Unlike years past, we may try something different this year, holding a club "Open House" on a Saturday afternoon, enabling
all local members to attend, and hopefully bring interested collectors to our doors.
As in the past, RPA member volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about collecting from the general public. We'll have table displays, free stamp give-a-ways,
exhibits, and more, including the postmark above.
Won't you join us for our 2001 event? This is a great opportunity to collectively advance the hobby and increase membership within our own clubs as well.
